Christmas 2012 at Squires restaurant located in the Mercure White Hart Hotel in Salisbury is truly a special occasion! Centrally situated in the city of Salisbury, opposite the famous Cathedral and Close, lies this beautiful 17th century hotel where the festive season has special warmth.

Squires Restaurant is a traditional English eatery with a prestigious literary pedigree. Novelists Charles Dickens and Mark Twain have both dined here. Squires serves everything from English breakfasts to carvery lunches and a full a la carte service in the evenings, and the dining room has a cosy atmosphere and is decorated with ochre-coloured walls, fresh flowers and crisp white tablecloths.

Join us in 2012 for a Traditional Christmas Day with all the trimmings, roaring log fires, delicious Traditional Fayre and our renowned Hospitality. Arrive at your leisure, relax in our Comfortable Lounge with a drink or two and then move through to our elegant Squires Restaurant. On your table you will find a gift that Santa has left for you. The price is inclusive of festive six course menu, Christmas novelties and a gift.

Boxing Day Lunch
Why not round off your Christmas Festivities and treat yourself and your family to a relaxing lunch in the beautiful surroundings of the Squires Restaurant. Arrive early and enjoy a pre-lunch drink by our roaring log fires where our friendly staff will present you with the menus so you can choose your meal at your leisure.

Christmas Parties
Our Squires Restaurant and St John Suite are ideal venues for our popular party nights. Squires Restaurant can cater for up to 100 people and St John Suite for up to 50 people. The evening begins from 6pm when you can take advantage of happy hour in the bar with discounted drinks and special promotions. Between 7.30pm and 8pm you will be invited to sit down for your festive 3 course dinner. Once dinner has finished the party really begins with dancing to our resident disco until midnight. Parties of any size welcome. Private parties can be booked subject to minimum numbers (85 min in the Restaurant, and 45 min in the St John Suite).

Squires Restaurant
Celebrate the New Year in style with our 'Black Tie and Sparkles' evening.
Arrive for your pre-dinner drinks and our friendly staff will meet you in the Lounge with complimentary canapés which you can enjoy while looking at the menu. You will then be invited to take your seats for a sumptuous dinner. After dinner, dance the night away to our resident disco with the traditional countdown to see in 2013.
St John Suite
As an alternative and for those who would prefer a quieter celebration, enjoy a Candle-lit Dinner in our stylish St John Suite. Enjoy complimentary canapés whilst relaxing with your pre-dinner drinks and deciding what to choose from our delicious menu.
