In 1997 The Fowey Hotel and restaurant was awarded two coveted AA Rosettes and has continued to maintain this standard with pride ever since, making it one of Cornwalls finest restaurants.
Dining at The Fowey Hotel restaurant is a memorable experience in an elegant setting and the evening menus are freshly prepared daily with new and exciting dishes being introduced regularly. Head Chef Mark Griffiths has been with the Fowey Hotel for a number of years and is one of only a few Master Chefs in Cornwall.
His menus make full use of the best of seasonally available Cornish produce that is delivered every day. The hotel is happy to cater for special dietary requirements and vegetarians but appreciates advance notice in order to do so.
The terrace at The Fowey Hotel is a lovely place to sit and enjoy morning coffee, Afternoon Tea or lunch during the warmer months - extended in Fowey partly because of its year round mild climate and partly because of handy patio heaters! Tea on the lawn in the Victorian Tea Garden is a real treat in the summer.
The hotel's bar menu offers an array of delicious lighter dishes that can be enjoyed lunchtimes and evenings, made all the more special by the panoramic views enjoyed from the bar and lounge areas.
