We are a small family business and this is our first venture. We have over fifty years (collectively) of extremely good experience in the restaurant trade, predominately in London and latterly in Bristol.
Our C.V.s include Chez Bruce, Alastair Little, The River Café and the Brackenbury in London and Former head chefs at both The Glassboat and Riverstation here in Bristol. We have lived and worked in the West Country for some years.
Our food is mainly classic European (apparently categorised as ‘modern British') but will have the occasional Asian ingredient. Our influences are naturally from people with whom we have worked but also, great authors of the culinary world such as Elizabeth David, Jane Grigson and Claudia Roden.
