There are many people that claim the best things come from the ambitions that we are most passionate about. In our case, it has been our dream for the past 25 years to create an extremely special group of stunning country house hotels in our beloved Cotswolds. Finally, in 1997 we were able to realise our vision and Cotswold Inns and Hotels was born providing an invigorating and tempting mix of contemporary chic and classic Cotswold charm.
We wanted the whole character of Cotswold Inns and Hotels to be very much modelled on our own home; relaxed, friendly, good looking but not demanding, quintessentially English. Country House style epitomises something we personally feel is fading in today’s world – a simpler way of life based on the earth and the things that grow in it and live off it.
Friendly and relaxed staff ensure that every guest is made to feel special and experiences a whole new level of comfort. The superb English cuisine in our hotels is of the utmost importance and we insist on using local produce where possible, which is always welcomed by our guests. All our bars are cosy meeting places where our guests unwind and enjoy the heart of the hotel. We also make efforts to encourage locals who greatly add to the ambience of the bar. For us, it has been a love-affair journey and we think fondly of our hotels and hope you do, too. They look set to be recognized as the very best in the Cotswolds.
