Hart's Hotel was built in 2002 to an award winning design by architect Julian Marsh on the former ramparts of Nottingham’s medieval castle.
The location is perfect. A secluded courtyard 5 minutes walk from the Market Square with a quiet garden giving glorious views over the city and beyond.
The quality of the building and the location are important – more important still is the quality of personal service provided by a team of 40 staff.
Hart’s is a busy 80 seater restaurant which has for some nine years claimed the title of Nottingham’s most successful up-market eatery.
Hart’s aims to provide a thoroughly professional blend of skilled service and modern British cooking in a stylish and comfortable interior.
General manager, Sally Martin, leads the front of house team.
The wine list was compiled by Tim Hart includes a wide range of interesting bottles from small producers in the price bracket £15 - £30.
Mark Osborne's cooking could be described as “Modern British”. His aim is to use top quality ingredients, often locally sourced in simple striking combinations.
A complete refurbishment, masterminded by Stefa Hart in January 2006, provided more intimate seating options in comfortable booths.
