The Queens Head (Bed and Breakfast)
The Queens Head in Rothbury is a family run Inn with 7 en-suite rooms, great food, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. We have lunch and evening menus as well as a daily specials board. There is a comfortable restaurant, a bar and a games room with pool table, large screen tv and juke box. We have a lounge on the first floor for residents, a patio garden and a private car park. We can help to arrange a large variety of activities including fishing, golf, shooting, walking and cycling (we have storage facilities for cycles). The new Garden at Alnwick Castle is only a 20 minute drive away. Cragside House and gardens are a short walk or a 2 minute drive. We cater for parties and functions and we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and service. We have two CHRISTMAS FAYRE menus starting at £14.95 full of homemade dishes made with local ingredients, AND A SIX COURSE NEW YEARS EVE MENU, at £45.00 per head. New Years Day Lunch
New years day is very special in Rothbury, the pipe band are out all day, entertaining in the local pubs and marching in the high steet, a very merry time is had by all. Lunch is served in the bar or restaurant with hopefully not a turkey in sight......
Bed and Breakfast only
Rack rate is £65.00 per double or twin room per night for two with breakfast, a choice of five different cooked breakfasts, with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and toast.
