The Castle Hotel is privately owned and totally committed to offering you the best possible service and hospitality we can. Grade II listed and with unrivalled Castle and Cathedral views, the main building is over 150 years old and beamed Lodge rooms can boast some 250 years of history.
A comfortable place to enjoy a meal from a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes which are served by professional yet friendly staff.
We do not operate a dress code but prefer you to feel relaxed, to simply sit back and enjoy an evening with us.
Our aim is always to produce good fresh food as quickly as possible but there will inevitably be some delay after ordering whilst we prepare your meal for you. I can assure you the wait will be well worth while!!What could be more romantic and intimate than to arrange a meal in a private dining room just for the two of you?
