Its secluded country location makes Stirk House a perfect base for exploring the intriguing central Lancashire countryside. The ancient villages of Bowland are just a few minutes' drive away, while the “witch villages” of Pendle – steeped in history and folklore – lie in the other direction. The bustling market town of Clitheroe is also nearby, offering a fascinating glimpse into Civil War history.

Four suites and a further forty-seven bedrooms enable us to cater for large parties with ease – ideal for celebrations. Our experience of hosting conferences has taught us that many people simply do not have time to relax in the evenings, and so we have six dedicated executive double bedrooms. All rooms have dial out telephones, work stations and an internet connection socket, as well as satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities.
