Christmas Day Lunch

We don��t think you should mess around with the traditional Christmas Day lunch so we don��t. The best, locally sourced ingredients from suppliers that supply us the best before anyone else, a kitchen that knows what to do and staff that are genuinely determined to give
you a great time. It��s a simple recipe, we just follow it to the letter and as a result have built up a steadfastly
loyal local following.
Our four course Christmas Day lunch features local free range turkey or goose at its heart, a choice of luxurious starters, the indomitable homemade Gallivant Christmas pud and the largest truckle of Stilton to pass round
and enjoy.
The details of the menu will be published in September. Due to demand there will be 2 sittings, one at 12 and the other at 3pm with a number of tables already reserved. Lunch is priced at £65 per person, £20 per child.

Boxing Day Lunch

Traditionally a day to re-awake the senses with an hour or two of fresh air why not make it sea air this year with a life affirming stroll along the beach in front of us and a restoring lunch with us for afters.
Due to demand, this year we are putting on a couple of choices for you to consider:
A more formal lunch in the Beach Bistro, three courses of some of the most delicious local, seasonal food you could imagine, served in our New England style dining room. Expect a menu that is chance to taste everything that at its absolute best, cooked with a confidence and skill that has put our Bistro on the culinary map in this part of England.
A ��beachcombers�� beach BBQ in the Beach Café. Sides of local meat char grilled or spit roast to perfection served alongside a variety of heart warming dishes served on huge feasting plates for you to choose from. A more informal affair served inside our toasty hot beach hut, the perfect refuelling spot after a ��gallivant�� along the beach. Dogs are welcome!

Christmas Parties

Come to our Beach House style hotel for your Christmas Party this year and enjoy a fabulous three course dinner in our Bistro with wine included.
Later in the evening our Beach Club nightclub will be turning up the volume, with smoke and lazers helping even the very shy to hit the dance floor, perhaps with a little help from a cocktail or two from our Driftwood Bar and at midnight, enjoy a bacon buttie straight off our Beach Bar

New Year Dinner and Dance

Mulled wine, tea and homemade cake served in the Sitting Room when you are ready. A good chance to meet some of our team who will run through whats happening at the hotel over the next few days and suggest a host of things to do in the area for young and old.

New Years Eve
A lovely big breakfast served in the Bistro and then the choice is yours until the early evening. We would strongly recommend one of the many uplifting and soul re-invigorating walks near to us the beach opposite (how about bringing along a kite?), the hauntingly beautiful Dungeness, its lighthouse and nature reserve or even the cliff top paths at Fairlight, simply spectacular. Be back in good time to have a long hot bath, as the party starts at 7pm in the Bistro, set up with our coastal style drift wood tables, where a six course gourmet feast featuring the very best of whats sourced from around the hotel, will be served.
Later in the evening our Beach Club nightclub will be turning up the volume, with smoke and lazers helping even the very shy to hit the dance floor, perhaps with a little help from a cocktail or two from our Driftwood Bar
At midnight, with a glass of bubbly in hand, watch fireworks welcome in the new year and if youre a little peckish, enjoy a bacon buttie straight off our Beach Bar BBQ.

New Years Day
No mad rush this morning, breakfast is served as normal but for those with a slightly more fragile disposition why not wait till our legendary New Years Day brunch which starts at midday.

Sunday 2nd January
A final full English breakfast and perhaps a final walk on the beach before a few goodbyes. A new year awaits for you to enjoy and grasp with both hands. Hopefully a few days on the beach at the Gallivant has given you the best possible start.

New Years Day Lunch

For some it��s the day after the night before, a reason
to refuel and recover, for others it��s the day to celebrate the New Year. Whatever your reason to visit we hope you��ll visit our beach and spend some time just gallivanting along, re-charging the batteries and
de-stressing the senses.
For recoverers we are hosting a New Years Day Hangover Buffet in the Beach Café. Think large jugs of Bloody Marys followed by spit roast meats and healthy sides to get the system going again.

For celebrations enjoy a Gourmet Lunch Feast in the Bistro. Four courses of more indulgent local ingredients, cooked and presented with style and precision to whet the appetite and satiate the soul. With only one sitting you can dictate the pace and enjoy the delights of our locally sourced ingredients at your leisure.
